Your Rights
Depending on your location (EU/EEA, UK, California, Japan, etc.), you may have the following rights:
- Access — Request a copy of your personal data we hold
- Correction — Request we correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — Request we delete your personal data
- Portability — Receive your data in a machine-readable format
How to Submit a Request
Email Us
Send your request to: privacy@henshu.io
Include in your request:
- Your full name and email address associated with your HENSHU account
- The specific right you wish to exercise (access, correction, deletion, etc.)
- Any additional details to help us process your request
- For security, we may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling the request
Response Timeline
We respond within 7 business days
For complex requests, we may need up to 30 days and will notify you if additional time is required.
Account Deletion
If you request account deletion, we will:
- Delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days
- Remove your audio files, episodes, and associated metadata
- Cancel any active subscriptions
- Retain minimal data only if required by law (e.g., tax records, fraud prevention)
⚠️ This action is irreversible. Please export any content you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
California Residents (CPRA)
We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
